Oman’s New Minister of Social Development: We pledge sincerity to God in assigning us this in the service of Oman

Muscat: Her Excellency Laila bint Ahmed bin Awad Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development, raised the highest verses of gratitude and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, may God preserve and protect him, for his high confidence in her.

Her Excellency Laila bint Ahmed bin Awad Al-Najjar wrote through her official account on Twitter: “I extend the highest verses of gratitude and gratitude to His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said – may God protect him – for his sublime confidence in me, and from this place we pledge to God sincerely in assigning us this service to Oman, may God protect Oman and His Majesty the Sultan.”

Royal Decree No. 111/2020 provided for the formation of the Council of Ministers, which included in its ranks 3 female ministers, namely Dr. Madiha bint Ahmed bin Nasser Al Shaibani, Minister of Education, Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim bin Saeed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, and Her Excellency Laila bint Ahmed bin Awad Al-Najjar, Minister of Social Development.

As for the Royal Decree No. 113/2020, it stipulated the appointment of some personalities to occupy several positions, among them the name of His Excellency Dr. Mona Bint Salem bin Khalfan Al-Jardaniya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation for Vocational Training, and Her Excellency Maitha bint Saif bin Majed Al Mahrouqia, Under Secretary of the Ministry of Heritage And Tourism Tourism, and Her Excellency Dr. Fatima bint Mohammed bin Baqer Al-Ajmi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs, and His Excellency Aseela bint Salem bin Suleiman Al-Samsamiyeh was appointed as the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment Promotion for Investment Promotion, and His Excellency Halima bint Rashid bin Sulaiman Al-Zaria was named Chair of the Commission Small and medium enterprises development.

This appointment, which included a number of women, comes as a continuation of the attention given to Omani women during the years of the blessed Omani renaissance and a renewal of the growing interest in women, which was reflected in the great role they played in all areas.
