North A’Sharqiyah Records 25% Growth in Commercial Registrations

Ibra:  The Governorate of North A’Sharqiyah recorded growth in commercial registrations during 2025, with 1,665 new registrations compared to 1,330 in 2024, marking an increase of 25.2 percent.

The total number of commercial registrations in the governorate reached 19,996 by the end of 2025.

Abdulaziz Naseeb Al Araimi, Director of the Department of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion in North A’Sharqiyah, said that these indicators reflect growing confidence among entrepreneurs and investors in the business environment.

He added that the increase in registrations, along with activity in the contracting sector, points to ongoing development across the governorate’s wilayats.

Al Araimi noted that efforts continue to streamline procedures, advance digital transformation and support small and medium enterprises, contributing to attracting further investment and supporting economic development.

At the wilayat level, Bidiyah recorded the highest number of new registrations with 531, followed by Ibra with 298, Al Mudhaibi with 289, Al Qabil with 286 and Sinaw with 179.

Wilayat Wadi Bani Khalid recorded 47 registrations, while Dima’a Wal Taiyeen registered 35 new commercial activities.
