Oman’s pilgrims flock to Mina to spend day of Tarwiyah

Makkah Al-Mukarramah: Oman’s Pilgrims flock to Mina to spend the Day of Tarwiyah, before heading to stand tomorrow at the level of Arafat.

Sultan bin Saeed al-Hinai, head of the Omani Hajj delegation, said: Omani pilgrims began arriving at the Mina shrine since the morning hours, stressing that all pilgrims are fine, praise be to Allah, and appreciating the role of the authorities that cooperated in facilitating their travel.

He added: This year, the Mina camp contains appropriate services to facilitate the rituals of Hajj, pointing to the importance of pilgrims’ cooperation in the holy sites. The delegations of the Omani Hajj mission in Mina camp began providing medical services, issuing fatwas, religious guidance, supervising the facilities and services, and providing a suitable environment for the Omani pilgrims who arrived at the camp.

The Omani Hajj mission had formed committees and work teams to serve the Omani pilgrims in the holy sites concerned with the general supervision of the Mina and Arafat camps, in addition to taking care of the facilities and services, guiding the pilgrims, searching for the missing, supervising the security and safety of the pilgrims, preserving the lost items and distributing food.
