Muscat, 25 Jun (ONA) — Sheikh Khalifa Ali Al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs received here today Peter Lewinsky, Secretary General of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed aspects of bilateral cooperation in political, economic and cultural fields, in addition to ways of enhancing them.
The two sides also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest.
The Secretary General of the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs of the Republic of Austria expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to the Sultanate of Oman for its recent role in the release of Austrian citizens from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The meeting was attended by Christian Brunmayr, Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to the Sultanate of Oman, Munthir Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Head of the Europe Department at the Foreign Ministry and officials of both sides. – ONA
