

Muscat: The total population of the Sultanate of Oman increased by 6.1 percent to reach more than 5.1 million at the end of the third quarter of 2023 compared to the same period last year, said the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
According to the NCSI, the total population of the Sultanate of Oman at the end of September 2023 reached 5,136,957, compared to 4,841,356 compare to the same period last year
The population clock at the NCSI indicated that Omanis constituted 56.69% of the population of the Sultanate, reaching 2,912,064
The data also showed that expatriates constituted 11.1 percent of the population of the Sultanate of Oman, with a total of 2,224,893.
While Muscat topped the list of the most densely populated governorates, followed by North Al Batinah
