Muscat: Based on instruction of the Ministry of Transport, Communication & information Technology, “Mwasalat’ has announced to resume the operations of Public transport services gradually according to the following details:
1, Return of Intercity buses service between governorates of the Sultanate, Starting on 27th of September 2020, except (Muscat-Salalah) route & (Muscat-Dubai) route until further notice.
2, Return of City buses services (Muscat), Starting on 4th of October 2020.
3, Return of City buses service (Salalah), Starting on 18th of October 2020.
City buses service in (Suhar) is suspended temporarily until further notice.

Preventive actions taken to protect buses service users
1, Sterilizing all buses on daily basis
2, Sterilizing and cleaning seats, handles and other parts at the start and end of each trip.
3, Adding 100 Baisa fees to the ticket price to City buses services and 500 Baisa for Intercity buses service for sterilization and cleaning procedures.
4, Providing hand sanitizers on all buses
5, Checking passenger temperatures before boarding buses
6, Limiting the number of passengers by leaving distance in seats
7, Providing personal protection equipment (PPE) tools for all drivers
8, Preparing all buse station with all necessary precaution measures
Regulations to be taken while using buses:
1, Wearing face mask
2, Avoiding standing passenger inside buses
3, Commitment to all precautionary measures
