Oman’s Shura Council Refers Draft Labour Law to State Council

Muscat: The Shura Council today referred amendments of the draft labour law, which was referred by the government, to the State Council.

The motion aims to complete the legislative cycle according to the article No. (49) of the Council of Oman Law.

The Shura Council today completed the discussions on the report of the draft law that included amendments and additions on some articles in a manner that guarantees the worker’s rights.

This took place during the 9th ordinary session of the 4th annual sitting of the 9th term held under the chairmanship of Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of the Shura Council.
