    • Oman’s Shura Council Refers Draft Social Protection Law to State Council

    Muscat: Shura Council has referred the draft Social Protection Law to the State Council. The draft law was referred following discussions on its articles during the 11th session of the 4th annual sitting of the 9th term held under the chairmanship of Khalid Hilal Al Maawali, Chairman of Shura Council.

    The draft Social Protection Law included (163) articles divided into seven chapters. Shura Council made many observations on various articles. A set of development proposals were presented for several articles and provisions of the draft law.
