Oman’s State Council Office Discusses New Studies, Proposals

Muscat: The State Council Office today reviewed a number of studies and proposals submitted by the permanent and special committees of the Council.

During the meeting, the State Council Office looked into a study submitted by the Culture, Information and Tourism Committee titled “Scopes for Promoting Local Tourism in the Sultanate of Oman” and a study submitted by the Social Committee titled “Omani National Identity”.

The meeting also discussed a study submitted by the Technology and Innovation Committee titled “the employment of technology in formulating an innovative system for performance governance in the state’s administrative apparatus” and a study of the Legal Committee on the articles of the “internal regulations of the State Council”.

The discussions took place during the 4th regular session’s 7th meeting (Seventh Term), headed by Sheikh Abdul Malik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council. – ONA
