Muscat: Based on the Royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the State Council will begin its Eighth Term (2023-2027) by holding the first session of its first regular sitting on Wednesday, 15 November 2023.
The agenda of the session includes the swearing-in of members of the 8thTerm, as well as a speech by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili,the State Council’s Chairman.
During its first session of the 8th Term, the State Council will elect two deputies to the chairman and members of the State Council’s Office. The council members will also contest seats in the Council’s permanent committees. – ONA
