STEM Week in A’Rustaq Highlights Technology and Innovation Fields
A’Rustaq: The fourth edition of the National Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Week began today at the General Directorate of Education in South Al Batinah Governorate under the theme “Our Sciences Renewed”.
The event will continue until 9 April, featuring a range of scientific activities across the wilayats of the governorate with participation from schools.
The programme covers various fields, including energy and natural resources, environmental sustainability, urban planning, future technologies, environmental sciences, biodiversity, food science, agricultural technologies, industry, digital transformation, health sciences and medical technologies, as well as climate change, space and aviation sciences.
The event aims to raise awareness of STEM fields, encourage student interest in science, engineering and technology, and promote scientific knowledge in line with global developments.
It also seeks to simplify scientific concepts, enhance scientific culture across society and develop students’ skills in critical thinking and problem-solving.
