Muscat: Oman’s Supreme Committee issues new decisions on Sur

The Supreme Committee charged with examining the mechanism of dealing with developments resulting from the spread of the Corona virus (Covid 19), in the framework of its continuous meeting, followed up the effects of the weather situation on the governorates of the Sultanate in general, and what the Wilayat of Sur witnessed in particular, in terms of the impact on public and private properties due to heavy rain and runoff valleys, the continuation its effects on some villages in spite of the tireless efforts made by the competent authorities.

The Supreme Committee decided to allow the movement of individuals and to open stores selling foodstuffs, bakeries, restaurants, building materials stores, electrical and health materials, and fodder stores located in the Wilayat of Sur only from 7 am to 5 pm on July 20 – July 21, 2021, allowing the various work teams to carry out their work during this period in coordination with the Ministry of Social Development.
