Muscat: Oman’s Tax Authority issues a notice on expiry of all VAT registration dates
In a statement Oman Tax Authority said: “Due to the expiry of all VAT registration dates, the Tax Authority would like to draws the attention of those who are subject to VAT whose whose debts exceed the amount of (RO 38,500) thirty-eight thousand and five hundred Omani Riyals, with the importance of speeding up registration through the electronic portal of the Tax Authority: www.taxoman.gov.om. Note that the registered taxpayers have the right to impose tax and deduct income tax, and they are entitled for a refund of the tax in some cases in accordance with the provisions of the Value Added Tax Law.”
