Oman’s total Covid cases surpass 200,000: MOH

Muscat: The Ministry of Health on Sunday announced the registration of 2006 new cases of Coronavirus (Covid 19) within 3 days, of whom 834 were Omani and 1,172 non-Omanis, thus bringing the total number of cases registered in the Sultanate to 201350 cases.

The numbers of cases came as follows:

Thursday: 760 cases.
Friday: 612 cases.
Saturday: 634 cases.

The number of deaths came as follow

Thursday: 8
Friday: 14
Saturday: 15

37 new deaths reported in 3 day , total deaths reached to 2120.

The Ministry calls upon all citizens and residents to keep cleaning hands with soap and water, to avoid touching the face, nose, mouth and eyes, to follow healthy habits when sneezing and coughing, and to strictly adhere to the social and physical distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the Ministry of Health.
