Muscat: The percentage of job seekers in the Sultanate reached 2.1% at the end of February 2022, compared to 2.2% in January 2022, according to the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI)
The rate of job seekers among females was 5.6%, while the percentage among men was 1.4% in February 2022.
With regard to the age group, the age group from 15 to 24 years recorded the highest percentage at 15.3%, followed by 4.0% for the age group from 25 to 29 and 1.3% for the age group from 30 to 34 years.
In terms of researchers by educational status, the highest percentage was at 7.2% for people with a higher diploma.
