    Omantel CEO: The group’s subscriber base across various markets in the region has exceeded 54 million (including Zain Group subscribers), while the group’s revenues have reached more than 3 billion Omani riyals.

    Omantel CEO: The company was able to expand its networks and infrastructure in 2024, achieving 4G coverage of 98 percent and 5G coverage of 92 percent, and expanding its fiber optic network to more than 10,000 kilometers across all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

    Omantel’s CEO notes that 500,000 smart electricity meters and 300,000 smart water meters will be connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) by 2024, reflecting the company’s progress in promoting smart digital transformation.

    Omantel’s CEO explains that the total value of contracts awarded by Omantel to small and medium enterprises amounted to OMR 13.1 million.
