Omantel and DarAlAttaa sign agreement to restore, maintain 170 homes for needy families

Within the framework of sustainable partnership and cooperation between Omantel and Dar Al Atta’a, a “cooperation contract” was signed last week at the company’s headquarters, as part of the company’s social responsibility programs.

The contract was signed by Talal Al-Maamari, CEO of Omantel, and Maryam bint Issa Al-Zadjali, chairwoman of the association’s board of directors, signed it by the Dar Al Atta’a Association, in the presence of a delegation from both sides.

The contract includes cooperation in the field of building and maintaining homes for needy families, where a team of engineers from Dar Al Atta’a Association supervises the implementation of construction and maintenance projects with the support of Oman Telecommunications Company, Omantel.

It is worth noting that the cooperation between the two parties has started since 2014, during the past years, restoration and maintenance works were carried out for nearly 170 homes of poor families in the various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

This partnership stems from the two parties’ belief in the importance of having a home prepared for living a decent life for all.

On this, the Honorable Maryam Al Zadjali, President of the Association, said: “Dar Al Atta’a Association appreciates this continuous and sustainable cooperation with Omantel and its confidence in the Association’s efforts. ; We assure that such partnerships contribute to the sustainability of projects and increase the number of homes that can be improved for living.”
