    • One expat dies, seven critical after drowning in Muscat

    Muscat: An expat has died, while another seven remain in critical condition after drowning at Shatti Al Qurum area on Friday April 26, according to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA)

    In a statement CDAA said: “The rescue and ambulance teams of the Civil Defense and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate responded to the drowning accident of eight people of Asian nationality in the sea in the Shatti Al Qurum area in the Wilayat of Bawshar. The accident resulted in the death of one person and seven people were treated in critical condition.”
