10 Ready-Made Industrial Units Launched in A’Dakhiliyah
Nizwa: A facility named “Madayn Pioneering Complex” was inaugurated today in the A’Dakhiliyah Governorate. The ceremony was held under the auspices of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ).
During the event, the first 10 ready-made model industrial units were launched at Nizwa Industrial City, an affiliate of the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (“Madayn”). The initiative aims to empower small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and stimulate industrial activity across Oman’s governorates.
Each industrial unit has an operational area of approximately 620 square metres and is equipped with essential services, administrative offices and designated loading and unloading areas. The units also include parking and green spaces, featuring modern and flexible designs tailored to industrial and entrepreneurial activities.
The project seeks to establish an integrated industrial environment that accelerates the implementation of SME industrial ventures, enhances in-country value (ICV) and creates sustainable employment opportunities. It also complies with security and safety standards and incorporates renewable and alternative energy solutions.
The opening of the industrial units reflects coordinated efforts among relevant authorities to support entrepreneurs, expand investment prospects and contribute to the objectives of Oman Vision 2040, while advancing economic development in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate.
As part of broader efforts to enable entrepreneurs to operate efficiently, Riyada (the Authority for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises) will collaborate with Madayn to establish similar ready-made factory complexes in other governorates, in line with Riyada’s 2026–2030 executive plan.
