The Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones, represented by the Compliance and Environmental Affairs Department of the General Directorate of Control and Compliance, made several visits to companies operating in the areas affiliated to the Authority, in order to see the procedures followed by operating companies in the field of environmental control and the extent to which projects comply with the legislation, laws and regulations issued by the Authority. And its compliance with the requirements of practicing licenses and environmental permits used in environmental management systems.

Among the expected results of these visits are the preparation and updating of general policies for examination, control and compliance, as well as the preparation of unified forms for collecting information and data on compliance and environmental control in all fields, opening communication channels, facilitating procedures and creating an attractive environment for investment.
