Oscars 2020: The best picture goes to Korean film Parasite

Parasite is a 2019 South Korean black comedy film it was premiered at the Cannes film Festival in May last year. Directed by the South Korean director of Bong Joon Ho, this black comedy film was screened at IFFK in Tagore theater. The crowed went wild standing within the queue to watch the show of South Korean comedy filmmaker Bong Joon-ho’s Parasite.

With Parasite being the primary in history to receive double nominations for Best Picture and Best Foreign Film.

Watching a South Korean language movie is not easy. Even if there is a subtitles, it can often distract your attention to the visual language and negatively impact your visual experience. But in the case of Parasite movie, this becomes an exception. While watching this 134-minute movie, you cannot take your eyes off the screen for a moment. Bong Joon Ho, a film director and screenwriter and also the black comedy monster movies just like The Host (2006) and also the sci-fi action Snowpiercer (2013), before the Korean film.
