The total number of vehicles registered until the end of December 2022 reached 1,603,376 million vehicles, including 1,273,791 private cars, according to the monthly bulletin issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
Among vehicle colors, white was the most preferred in the Sultanate, with as many as 687,790 vehicles.
It is noteworthy that the National Center for Statistics and Information issues the monthly statistical bulletin in line with international trends and recommendations in terms of concepts, definitions and statistical data that can be provided, taking into account local conditions.
This bulletin covers the statistics of all sectors in the Sultanate in an aggregated and comprehensive way, which has created great dependence on them by large sectors of governmental and non-governmental beneficiaries as well as many international institutions. The monthly statistical bulletin is followed up periodically.
In issuing this bulletin, the Center relies on multiple data sources represented in the sectoral executive units of ministries and agencies, whose indicators are followed up in the bulletin, as well as the available statistical data calculated by the Centre.
