Muscat: The monthly bulletin of the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI) revealed that Omani women working in the public sector who are subject to subscription with a wage category ranging from 325 to less than RO 500 per month amount to 16.5% out of a total of 179,041 Omanis, and the percentage of Omani women working in the public sector who are subject to subscription amounts to 49.6% by the end of November 2023. With a total of 88,805 female employees, while the number of male employees is 90,236.
Statistics indicate that the age group 35-39 years had the largest number, with 46,630 male and female employees, while the statistics showed the presence of employees between the ages of 15-19 years in the public sector, with a total of 3 employees, compared to 7 employees by the end of 2022.
