    The monthly bulletin issued by the National Center for Statistics and Information showed an increase in the number of expatriates at the end of December 2022 compared to November 2022, with an increase of 23,609 expatriates.

    By the end of December 2022, the population of the Sultanate of Oman had reached 4,993,850 million, including 2,066,239 million expatriates.

    The number of live births during the year 2022 reached 75,824 by the end of December, while deaths from births reached 9,821.

    While the percentage of Omanis in the total registered population in the capital, Muscat, reached 38.4% by the end of December 2022.
