Muscat: Oman’s Ministry of Labour has arrested over 20 expatriate workers for practicing unlicensed businesses in Seeb.
In a statement Labour Ministry said: “The Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor Welfare, carried out an inspection campaign to combat the phenomenon of (random sale) by non-Omani workforce in the Wilayat of Seeb, and 21 workers were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law
The Ministry said, legal measures are being taken against them.”
