Oman’s 4th Graduate Survey 2023 kicks off
Muscat: As many as 30,765 students from all higher education institutions in Oman and abroad took part in 4th Graduate Survey 2023, which was conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation.
The survey received a response rate of 43% out of the target segments, which comprised students who graduated in academic years 2018/2019, 2019/2020 and 2020/2021.
Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, said that the graduate survey constitutes the first building block for aligning higher education outcomes with the needs of the labour market.
The minister pointed out that the Higher Education Graduates Survey would serve several parties, including policy makers and decision-makers, higher education institutions, employers and students expected to enrol in higher education institutions.
She explained that the number of graduates of the target segment in the survey stood at 72,000. – ONA
