Al Mudhaibi: Nama Water Services Company continues to implement the project to establish water distribution networks in the villages of Wadi Andam in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, where the completion rate of the project has reached more than 26 percent.

Awad bin Khamis Al-Shibli, the project manager, explained that the total cost of the project amounts to two million and 879 thousand Omani riyals, and includes expansion work on the existing green Bani Defense pumping station in the village of “Al-Habbat”, and the construction of new fiber tanks with a capacity of 90 cubic meters each, in addition to… To establish a new booster pumping station in the village of “Al-Washl,” and to connect water networks to eight villages in Wadi Andam, namely: Al-Gharyan, Al-Habbat, Mahlya, Al-Alia, Al-Washl, Saih Al-Sarat, Al-Mazari’, and Saih Al-Budour.
He told the Omani News Agency: The length of the pipe extension lines in the project, which will continue for two years, is estimated at about 76 kilometers, in addition to the presence of three tanks with a capacity of 90 square meters each, explaining that the excavation work that has been completed so far is about 37 kilometers, and the extension of water pipes. For an estimated distance of 36 kilometers, in addition to the backfilling work in the project, all of its work is expected to be completed in the first half of next year.
He added that the new project will cover a number of villages and population centers in the state of Al-Mudhaibi, the most prominent of which are the villages of the Niyabat of Samad Al-Shaan: Al-Rawda, Al-Akhdar, and Khadraa Bani Defense, in addition to the center of the state and its neighboring villages, where it is hoped that more than 130,000 people will benefit from the project to establish water networks in the state of Al-Mudaybi.
It is worth noting that Namaa Water Services Company seeks to implement a number of future projects in the field of water in a number of states of North Al Sharqiyah Governorate, the most prominent of which is the water networks project in the Wilayat of Dima and Al Tayyin (Al-Jardaa – Mahlah/), which includes a water pumping station in Al-Jardaa, and a transmission line with a length of 83 kilometers, And 10 distribution tanks, with a storage capacity ranging from 2,000 to 10,000 cubic metres.
