PACA: confirms end of the potential effects from the tropical depression in Oman

Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Aviation [PACA] for the end of the impacts of the weather system.

In a statement PACA said:The latest analysis of the National Multi Hazards Early Warning Center indicates the End of the potential effects from the depression, and the forecast maps currently show the concentration of the depression moving towards North Arabian Sea off the Pakistani coast.

However, the latest weather chart analysis indicates that there are still chances of isolated rain, and the sea state along the coastal areas of Oman sea will be moderate with maximum wave height of two meters while sea is expected to be rough along the Arabian Sea with maximum wave height of four meters, PACA added.

Continued chances of scattered rain across Muscat, Sharqiya and Batinah.

The Public Authority for Civil Aviation appreciates all the efforts made by the National committee for Emergency Management and all other civilian and sectors and the public response to the issues alerts, said in a statement PACA.
