Pact inked for Tourism program in Al Buraimi

Al Buraimi: The tourism program for the Al Buraimi Governorate was launched, a number of agreements signed between the implementing company and companies providing tourism services, organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch, and the Heritage and Tourism Department in the governorate.

Zaher bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Al Buraimi Governorate, said that the signing of the package is an essential beginning in strengthening and developing the tourism sector in the governorate, especially in light of the developments it is witnessing, which focus on developing and investing in archaeological sites, and implementing development tourism projects during the coming period of Current year 2024.

He added that the initiative strengthens the position of the tourism sector in the economic gross domestic product, through proper promotion and marketing of the governorate, noting that the package that was approved is the first of its kind in the governorate, and comes within an integrated strategy between private tourism sector institutions and a number of competent authorities.
