Philippines government on Friday extended travel ban on Oman, India, Pakistan, 7 other countries until August 15 to control the transmission of Covid-19 Delta variant

The Harry Roque, Spokesperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the management of emerging infectious diseases (IATF) announced on Friday to extend the travel restrictions are still in place for the following 10 countries until August 15. These countries include “Oman, India, UAE, Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand,”

Also the Harry Roque Spokesperson of the Inter-Agency Task Force released new list of green countries considered as low risk for Covid-19 which include, Kosovo, Hong Kong, Laos, Hungary, New Zealand, China, Albania, among others.

Fully vaccinated Filipino travelers from these countries will be subjected to seven-day facility quarantine, with the Covid-19 test to be taken on the fifth-day, Harry Roque announced on the day after the philippines recorded at least 97 Delta variant cases.
