Muscat: The wilayats of Al Khaboura and Al Suwaiq in North Al Batinah Governorate are witnessing a national epic that reflects the one spirit of the people of this good land in a wide voluntary campaign to support and support citizens and residents affected by the tropical situation “Shaheen”.

His Excellency Sheikh Ishaq bin Salem Al Rawahi, the Wali of Al Khaboura, described the national campaign as “the great epic” among the people of this country, adding that large numbers of volunteers flocked to the Wilayat of Al Khaboura from various governorates of the Sultanate to support the efforts made by government agencies.

His Excellency added in a statement to the Oman News Agency that the volunteer teams were distributed according to the plan drawn up for that, as the teams work in the first stage to clean the houses, then the furnishing stage, and then provide the houses with basic supplies.

“Regarding the work to restore basic services in the state, His Excellency indicated that efforts are continuing from all sectors, as the electricity network has been restored in many places, and we hope that the network will be fully restored within the next two days, and many roads have been opened by the Sultan’s Armed Forces, and works are underway to fully open the rest of the roads,”said the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology
