Political Undersecretary receives UN Special Envoy for Yemen

Muscat: His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harithi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, received today at the General Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Hans Grundberg, the Special Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Yemen.

During the meeting, the efforts made to support the Yemeni parties to reach a political solution that would achieve security and stability for brotherly Yemen and the countries of the region were reviewed, and the repercussions of the Israeli war against the residents of Gaza on the Yemeni issue and navigation in the Red Sea.

The meeting was attended by the delegation accompanying the guest and a number of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
