Pony horse race in Salalah

Salalah: The shore of Khor Al-Dahariz in the Wilayat of Salalah, a race for small horses (ponies) was held as part of the equestrian events and activities in the fall of Dhofar, organized by the Oman Equestrian Federation in cooperation with the Dhofar Equestrian Committee, the Dhofar Governor’s Office, and the Dhofar Municipality represented by the Festival Department.

A group of young riders participated in the race for a distance of 400 meters, and the horse race was crowned by “Pablo Escobar” on his horse, the knight Salem bin Amer Fadel.

The equestrian activities will continue until the first of August, by holding an endurance race for a distance of 100 km, a qualifying race for a distance of 80 and 40 km, and a peg picking tournament that will be held in the Etienne plain.
