Port of Salalah on Tuesday announces disclosure related to signing of the lease agreement an volume commitment agreement 

In a disclosure to muscat stock exchange, the company said: “Further to the announcement of the approval of certain related party transactions at the Ordinary General Meeting (the OGM) of Salalah Port Services Co. SAOG (the company) held on Wednesday 2nd November 2022, we wish to inform you that the Company has now entered into definitive legal documentation relating to the approved transactions comprising: 

1. A lease agreement with APM Terminals BV in relation to the lease to the Company of ten ULCV Capable Cranes and other supporting equipment to allow the Company to service Ultra Large Container Vessels (ULCV) within the current term of the concession on the terms summarized in Appendix 1 of the OGN invitation, which was signed and executed on 13th February 2023. 

2. A Volume Commitment Agreement with Maersk AS in relation to a volume commitment on terms which are summarized in Appendix 1 of the OGM initiation, which was signed and executed on 9th February 2023.”
