Service Efforts:

Muscat Municipality, represented by the general directorates of the regions and field teams, was formed and provided with the necessary tools and equipment to raise the level of its readiness to address the effects resulting from the weather condition through field presence and rapid response to areas that witnessed water accumulations and carrying out the operations of suctioning the water bodies “ponds.” Through designated drainage paths, and ensuring the safety of rainwater drainage systems in some main and secondary roads that have witnessed an increase in rainwater levels and valley flow; To ensure the smooth flow of traffic. And work to clean and sweep the streets of waste resulting from the weather condition.

Precautionary Measures:

On the other hand, Muscat Municipality implemented a number of precautionary measures, including closing traffic on Al Jabal Street (Aqbat Al Amerat – Bawshar) from both directions.
