Muscat: Oman Airports announces Preparatory Exercise at Muscat International Airport tomorrow, Wednesday October 2, 2024.
In a statement Oman Airports said: “In coordination with Oman Airports and strategic partners, the Royal Oman Police and the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority will conduct a Preparatory Exercise at Muscat International Airport tomorrow morning, Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
There will be noticeable movement of responders and volunteers in the terminal and on the airport grounds. We would like to assure the public that all necessary preparations have been made to ensure that airport operations and traffic in the surrounding areas remain unaffected.
This exercise is part of Oman Airports’ and its strategic partners’ commitment to implementing Civil Aviation Authority regulations for emergency response, aiming to test related emergency plans and ensure the readiness of all participants in the airport’s emergency response plan.”
