President of Zanzibar leaves Oman

Muscat: Dr. Hussein Ali Mwinyi, President of Zanzibar, and his accompanying delegation, left the country this evening, after an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman that lasted for several days, during which he met with His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mohammed bin Nasser Al Wahaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Administrative and Financial Affairs (Head of the Honorary Mission), and Saud bin Hilal Al Shethani, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Tanzania, bid farewell to the guest and his accompanying delegation upon their departure from the country. The United Nations, His Excellency Consul Saeed bin Salem Al Harthy, Consul General of the Sultanate of Oman in Zanzibar, members of the honorary mission accompanying the guest country and members of the Tanzanian embassy in Muscat.
