Muscat: The ministry of labour in cooperation with Royal Oman Police carries out inspection campaign for private residential houses in Bausher in which unlicensed businesses are practiced, 11 expat workers were arrested in violation of labor law.
In a statement Ministry or Labour said: “The Ministry of Labor, represented by the General Directorate of Labor Welfare (the joint inspection team), in cooperation with Royal Oman Police. In the Wilayat of Bausher, an inspection campaign was conducted for private residential homes in which unlicensed businesses are practiced, and (11) workers were arrested in violation of the provisions of the Labor Law, and legal measures are being taken against them.”
