Private sector institutions provide support to Fak Kurba initiative

Muscat: A number of private sector institutions provided support for the initiative to release Karba in its tenth edition, which comes under the slogan “Because we believe that a person deserves a second chance” to release the families of insolvents who are in prisons due to claims in cases (civil, commercial, legitimacy, labor).

Dr. Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Zadjali, President of the Omani Lawyers Association and supervisor of the Fak Karba initiative, expressed his thanks to the individuals, groups and institutions that contributed to the initiative, praising the cohesion and synergy of the Omani society, appreciating the generous support provided to the initiative by individuals and institutions.

He said that the initiative has achieved sustainability, as it has reached its tenth edition, and we hope for its continuity because of its noble honor. This initiative has gradually developed until the launch of the new identity and website for the initiative, expressing his thanks to the Ministry of Information and its role in supporting the initiative and highlighting its efforts and government and private media institutions.

It is noteworthy that the Faq Karba initiative contributed during its humanitarian journey since 2012 and by the end of the ninth edition to the release of 4,969 cases of insolvent languishing in prisons. It also contributed to promoting the values ​​of solidarity and solidarity between individuals and groups and activating the role of institutional partnership and social responsibility between institutions and companies.
