RAFO receives new batch of citizens for military training

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman, in coordination with the Ministry of Labor, today received a new batch of citizens for military training in arms, in continuation of the national efforts of the Sultan’s Armed Forces to absorb citizens looking for work.

All will be subject to the basic military training program as new air soldiers to join their brothers in arms in the various air bases, after they have passed the stages of acceptance, evaluation, tests and medical and physical examinations previously conducted for them.

Air Staff Major Khalid bin Sulaiman Al-Alawi, supervisor of the basic military training course, spoke about the preparations for the recruitment procedures and training programs, saying: “We congratulate the members of the basic military training course for passing the recruitment tests within the framework of joint coordination between the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Labor, where the new soldiers will join a training program that earns them The basic military skills and knowledge that qualifies them to carry out their missions and duties.

Major Air Force Ayoub bin Suleiman Al Riyami of the Royal Air Force of Oman said: “Coordination has been made with the Ministry of Labor and the reception of citizens to undergo recruitment procedures, which include academic tests, personal interviews, and medical and physical examinations.”

A number of the accepted citizens expressed their thanks for giving them and their colleagues the opportunity to join the military corps, noting that the procedures were smooth and the supervisors had a great deal of cooperation from all members of the Royal Air Force of Oman.

It is worth noting that the Royal Air Force of Oman has harnessed all its expertise and capabilities from specialized manpower, administrative and health requirements and means of transportation, in a manner that provides the appropriate environment to quickly implement the procedures for joining military service, and joining the fields of honor and national duty.
