Muscat: The Principal Moon-Sighting Committee for the month of Ramadan 1443 AH will meet at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs tomorrow (Friday)
The meeting will be held under the auspices of Sheikh Abdullah Mohammed Al Salmi, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, and it will be attended by a select body of members, including His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Hamad Al Khalili, Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman.
The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs requested Omani citizens and residents to look out for the new moon and report any sighting to their respective subcommittees, while at the same time adhering to the instructors of the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling developments resulting from Covid-19 pandemic.
