Real Estate Deals Value in Oman Exceeds RO 2.4bn

Muscat: The total value of real estate trading in the Sultanate of Oman until the end of November 2023 stood at RO 2.444 billion compared to RO 2.313 billion until the end of November 2023, comprising a growth of 5.7 percent compare to the same period in 2022, according to the showed date of the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

The total fees collected from all legal actions stood at RO 60.5 million, an increase of 4.9 percent from the end of November 2022.

The value of sales contracts stood at RO 972 million for 60,424 sales contracts with a decrease in value. A rate of 9.5 percent, with a decrease in the number of contracts by 5.9 percent.

The traded value of mortgage contracts increased by 19.5 percent, recording RO 1.462 billion for 21,461 contracts, while the number of swap contracts reached 1,302 contracts, worth RO 10.5 million.

According to the NCSI statistics, as many as 217,835 title deeds were issued by the end of November 2023 reached, an increase of 0.8 percent, while the number of title deeds issued to GCC citizens reached 1,241 properties, an increase of 57.5 percent.
