Regional Forum for Promoting Principles of Dialogue, Values of tolerance to being on Sunday

Muscat: Deliberations of the regional forum on promoting the principles of constructive dialogue and values of tolerance among young people will kick off here on 18 December.

The two-day forum is organized by the Ministry of Education represented by Oman National Commission for Education, Culture and Science in cooperation with the Center for Civilizational Dialogue of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).

The forum will see the participation of various national authorities and it targets youth, parents, researchers and interested academics. It seeks to propagate the global principles and values through social media platforms.

The forum aims to raise awareness among young people and encourage them to benefit from the efforts and experiences of ISESCO and to use the Arabic language during their communications via social media platforms. It also lays emphasis on consolidating the values of citizenship.
