Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology continues to repair damages to road networks in all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman due to the weather. Including Wadi Al-Hawasneh Road in the Wilayat of Al-Khaboura in North Al-Batinah Governorate, and the completion rate in it reached about 85 percent until the end of December 2022.
The project includes repairing 20 sites along the route, leveling “dirt shoulders” with a length of 60 km, and implementing 9 valley crossings and a number of “box culverts” in 5 locations.
This has taken into account the implementation of road repair works according to the standard specifications approved in the Road Design Manual, and it will be provided with traffic safety requirements from the guiding regulations and floor paints.
