    • RNO Commander Saif Al Rahbi Receives Korean Military Official

    Muscat: Rear Admiral Saif Nassir Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) received in his office at Al Murtafaa Garrison today Brigadier General Taekyu Park, Commander of the 8th Combat Training Group, Republic of Korea, and his accompanying delegation.

    During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on areas of naval cooperation between Oman and Korea.

    The meeting was attended by some senior RNO officers and the Military Attaché at the Korean Embassy in Muscat. Meanwhile, the Korean military official and his accompanying delegation visited the Marine Security Centre (MSC).

    They were greeted upon their arrival by the acting head of the MSC. Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the centre in the safety of the maritime environment.

    They also toured the centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties.
