    • RNO Marks Sultan’s Armed Forces Day and Retirees Day

    Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) today celebrated the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) Day, which falls on 11 December, and the Retirees Day, which falls on 7 December.

    The ceremony, held at Said bin Sultan Naval Base, was held under the patronage of Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources.

    It was attended by the SAF Chief of Staff, some commanders of SAF and other military and security units, members of the Shura Councils, retired commanders, senior officers at SAF and other military and security units, retired officers, government officialsm sheikhs and dignitaries in the governorates of South and North Al Batinah.
