Saham Vocational College Opens New Main Building to Support Technical Education
Saham: The main building of Saham Vocational College was inaugurated today in the Wilayat of Saham, North Al Batinah Governorate, at a total cost of RO 450,000.
Khalid Khalfan Al Maamari, Director of Saham Vocational College, stated that the new main building provides a stimulating educational environment that meets the needs of both staff and trainees, supporting the college’s mission to deliver quality vocational education.
He explained that the building includes five study halls with a combined capacity of 120 trainees, in addition to three computer laboratories equipped with the latest technical systems and educational technologies.
The facility also comprises a range of administrative and support services, including 19 offices accommodating 52 employees, as well as logistical services, a data centre, a technical support and network security office, a learning resources unit, and medical facilities featuring two clinics.
The inauguration ceremony was accompanied by the opening of professional exhibitions showcasing student projects. The exhibits represented nine vocational specializations, including electronics engineering, electrical power, automotive technology, refrigeration and air conditioning, architecture, wooden crafts engineering, mechanical engineering, welding and metal works, and agricultural technologies.
