Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has announced that vehicles are prohibited from parking on both sides of Sultan Qaboos Street from Al Barka Palace Roundabout to the Royal Private Airport on 28-29 May 2023.
In a statement ROP said: The Royal Oman Police, represented by the Security Relations and Media Department, issued an announces that it will prevent vehicles from parking on both sides of the lane on Sultan Qaboos Street, from Al Baraka Palace Roundabout to the Royal Private Airport, on Sunday and Monday (28-29) May 2023.
The Royal Oman Police calls on motorists to abide by the above and cooperate with the policemen to serve the public interest.
The duration of this announcement coincides with the upcoming visit of His Majesty the Sultan to Iran, which begins tomorrow, Sunday, and ends on Monday.
