    Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) to temporarily stop issuance, renewal of resident card on December 18 and December 25, 2022, due to municipal council elections.

    In a statement ROP said: “Due to the municipal council elections, the issuance, renewal, replacement, or issuance of a lost identity card will be stopped on Sunday, December 18, 2022 , during the polling period for citizens outside the Sultanate of Oman, and on Sunday, December 25, 2022  for citizens inside the Sultanate of Oman.
