Royal Army of Oman Welcomes New Officer Cadets

Muscat:  The Royal Army of Oman today received a new batch of Omani citizens, both males and females, for military training and integration into its various units. This step comes as part of the integrated national efforts undertaken by the Sultan’s Armed Forces, in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, to absorb and qualify national cadres.

The recruits will undergo a basic military training programme as new soldiers, after successfully passing the stages of admission, evaluation, testing, and the required medical and physical examinations. Upon completion, they will join the fields of honour and national duty in service of the Sultanate of Oman.

The Royal Army of Oman has mobilised its accumulated expertise and capabilities by providing specialised manpower, administrative and healthcare services, as well as transportation facilities, to ensure a suitable and supportive training environment for the sons and daughters of the nation.

This initiative is implemented in accordance with the approved plans and programmes aimed at supplying the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other units of the Ministry of Defence with qualified national competencies, contributing to the defence of the nation and service of its leadership, may God protect and preserve him.
